Tortuga Island + Sunset + Bioluminescence Tour.

For this tour, check-in will be at the office in Montezuma at 12:30 PM. We depart from Montezuma beach at 1:00 PM for a pleasant 45-minute boat ride along the coast to Tortuga Island.

We also offer transportation from Santa Teresa if needed. Pick-up service begins at 12:00 PM.

Upon arrival at Tortuga Island, you’ll enjoy snorkeling for 45 minutes. While this tour isn’t the main focus, on a sunny afternoon, it’s a great way to spend time snorkeling, as well as enjoying the island’s beautiful beach, which is less crowded in the afternoon.

On the Island, we offer sandwiches (chicken, ham & cheese, or avocado) and fruit around 2:30 PM. We depart from Tortuga Island at 4:00 PM.The next stop will be near Playa Vivos, within Tambor Bay, 20 minutes from Isla Tortuga. There, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Tambor mountains. Tortilla chips, pico de gallo, refried beans, and fresh fruit will be served.

Once night falls, we’ll return to the boat and begin searching for bioluminescence. You can swim with a life jacket or simply enjoy the view from the boat. Around 7:00pm, we’ll conclude this incredible activity in Pochote and then take you back to Montezuma, a 40-minute minibus ride, or to Santa Teresa, about a 60-minute minibus ride.
