PAYMENTShould I print a receipt to show the tour guide? We understand that you may not have a printer handy when you’re traveling so it is not necessary to have a printed copy. However, we require that you show ID matching your reservation and also the Order # that is immediately emailed to you after you make your reservation.Are there any extra fees that I will have to pay on top of the listed price? No, we do not charge any extra fees or fuel surcharges. The listed price is the price you pay. Including tax.Can I pay with cash USD dollars, or only local currency (colones).? Payments can be made either in USD dollars or colones at current exchange rate of the Central Bank of Costa Rica.Can I pay with my credit card.? Yes, you can use your credit cards. We prefer Master Card or Visa.You can also pay by PayPal, which is one of the safest online payment methods.Sometimes it is possible to pay to the Guide. Contact us for better information.
PREPARATIONWhat do I need to bring? Not much. We do suggest you bring appropriate clothing to fit the season, Hat, Jacket, Walking shoes, Insect repellent, Binoculars, Camera, Raincoat, Sunscreen and Water.What should I wear? Wear whatever is comfortable. It is recommended to have a sturdy pair of broken-in trail shoes, boots, or sneakers. It is preferable to dress in layers and wear clothing that will wick away perspiration and keep you dry and comfortable
RESERVATIONDo I have to make a reservation or can I just show up? Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.Booking a tour? Request a reservation is very easy, in each tour on our website you will see an option that says Book This Tour or Reserve Here. All you have to do is fill out the form and we will contact you to formalize the reservation, also agree with the payment method that best works for you.Due to the fact that we offer daily tours, there are no conditions on the lead time in which to make a reservation, almost all tours require a minimum of 2 passengers to operate, the customer will be informed immediately if we do not have the minimum of people required to operate the tour. We will be happy to help you to enjoy the most of your vacation..What is your refund and cancellation policy?You must call 72 hours ahead of your scheduled tour for a full refund. Within 72 hours you will assess a $35 termination fee. There are no refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of your tour or if you decide not to show up.
WEATHERAre we going hiking even though it’s raining and windy? We do hike in the rain, wind and any other weather conditions that nature decides to throw at us. If the weather is unsafe for any reason, the trip will be changed or postponed.You will be notified the week of your trip if there are changes due to weather.
