This tour is recommended for the whole family and includes a walk along the trails of the Carara National Park which is a sanctuary of flora and fauna, also includes a boat tour where you can see crocodiles and a great variety of birds.
Before arriving at the bridge of the Tarcoles River, we will stop for a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast. Then we will continue to the Carara National Park. Once in the park we will make a walk of approximately 2 hours, Carara is a macaw’s habitat, although it is not always possible to see macaws, there is a great possibility to see some of these birds.
After walking along the beautiful trails of Carara we will take our way to our next destination, a boat tour on the Tarcoles River to observe closely the huge American crocodiles. (The crocodile tour lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes). During the boat tour you will also have the opportunity to observe many seabirds
After the crocodile tour we will have a delicious lunch before heading back to San Jose.
Important: We pick you up between 05:30 am and 06:00 am. Returning to San Jose at 5:00 pm approximately.
