Arenal Volcano hike + Hot Springs is recommended for the whole family, includes roundtrip transportation from your hotel.

Departure time is at  06:00am, estimated return to San José at 7:00pm. . “The trip lasts approximately 2 and a half hours each way.” On the way to La Fortuna we will stop to enjoy a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast, then we will continue our route to La Fortuna, during the tour you will be able to observe beautiful landscapes.Once we arrive in La Fortuna we will head to the main entrance of the Lava Trails 1968, there we will walk through the lava trails. From there we can observe the imposing Arenal Volcano.
It is worth mentioning that the Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, although the last time the Arenal expelled incandescent material was in 2010. (From 1968 to 2010, the Arenal continuously erupted more than two hundred lava flows). At the end of our walk through the park trails, we will go to Paradise Hot Springs where we will have a delicious lunch, then you can relax in the hot springs of the resort.
