The Irazu Volcano
It is an active stratovolcano located in the central volcanic mountain range of Costa Rica, is located about 32 km north of the city of Carthage and has an altitude of 3,432 meters. Being the highest volcano in Costa Rica. The temperature in the Irazu Volcano is Between -6 ° C to 17 ° C degrees.
How to get to the volcano Irazu?

The Turrialba volcano
It is a volcanic cone located in the district of Santa Cruz, in the canton of Turrialba, Cartago. It is located in the Central Volcanic Range of Costa Rica, giving name to the Turrialba Volcano National Park. It has a height of 3340 m above sea level, the second highest volcano in Costa Rica, surpassed in height only by the Irazu Volcano.
The Poas Volcano
Covers an area of approximately 65 km² (16,000 acres). It is the country’s oldest national park, founded on January 25, 1971. Its main attraction is the Poas Volcano, a stratovolcano and one of the most active volcanoes in Costa Rica d. It is located in the province of Alajuela, 45 km Northwest of San José, within the conservation area of the Cordillera Central. How to get from San Jose to Poas Volcano? Well you can take a public bus in TUASA bus terminal, which is located in front of the Church of La Merced in San Jose, to take you to the city of Alajuela.
From the TUASA station in Alajuela where the bus stops running from San Jose, you must walk 200 meters to the south, there take the bus that leaves at 09:00am to the Poas Volcano. The same bus returns at 2:00 pm from the volcano.

The Miravalles Volcano
It is a stratovolcano located in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. It has several boilers that were formed as a result of several massive eruptions of pyroclastic flow between 0.6 and 1.5 million years ago. Its altitude is 2028 m.
The Rincón de la Vieja Volcano
